Product Returns & Service Cancellation
Information on consumer rights and return procedures
Product Returns
The product return procedure is governed by Article 26.1 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights".
• The consumer has the right to refuse the goods at any time before delivery, and after delivery — within seven days;
• Return or exchange of goods in which a hidden manufacturing defect has been discovered during use is carried out on the grounds and within the time limits established by the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights";
• A return of goods of satisfactory quality is possible provided that their presentation, consumer properties, and the document confirming the fact and conditions of purchase have been preserved;
• The consumer may not refuse goods of satisfactory quality that have individually defined characteristics if the said goods can only be used by the person who purchased them;
• Upon the consumer's refusal of the goods, the seller must refund the amount paid by the consumer under the contract, excluding the seller's expenses for returning the goods from the consumer, no later than ten days from the date the consumer submits the relevant claim;
Service Cancellation
The consumer's right to terminate a service contract is governed by Article 32 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights".
• The consumer has the right to terminate a service contract at any time, paying the provider a portion of the price proportional to the part of the service rendered before notice of termination was received, and reimbursing the provider for expenses incurred up to that point in performing the contract, provided those expenses are not included in the said portion of the service price;
Upon discovering deficiencies in a rendered service, the consumer has the right, at their own discretion, to demand:
- • free rectification of deficiencies;
- • a corresponding reduction in price;
- • reimbursement of expenses incurred by the consumer in remedying the deficiencies themselves or through third parties;
• The consumer may bring claims relating to deficiencies in a rendered service if they are discovered within the warranty period, or, in the absence of a warranty period, within a reasonable time not exceeding two years from the date of acceptance of the service;
• The service provider is liable for deficiencies in a service for which no warranty period has been set, if the consumer proves that they arose before the service was accepted or due to causes that existed before that point;
Legal Basis
All the rights and procedures described above are governed by the Federal Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights" and the applicable legislation of the Russian Federation.
